With both of these capture sources set, there is not 1 single game you can't record. For Game Capture, right click and add "Game Capture". With the "Capture" scene highlighted, right click in Sources and add "Window Capture". You can right click in the Scenes box and "add scene". I like to have two Scenes set: one called "Capture" and one called "Game Capture". When you open OBS, you are greeted by a rather plain looking window with a couple of boxes at the bottom and some volume sliders and buttons to the right of those. You need to convert the files properly and with as little quality loss as possible, and I'm going to show you how. Most editing software will only recognize the licensed Sorenson Spark codec but they won't read VP6 correctly, and this is what OBS uses, so you won't be able to edit those files nor can you simply remux to a different container (copy video information into a new file type).
